So, removing this extra 30 fluff minutes from the match would make this strat much less cancerous, especially after running into it over and over again. Originally posted by dylan the jewish guy:Title^ Having had 1.25 hours out of the 2 I just played wasted to two separate surround/campers certainly makes me never want to boot this game up again.

And usually, there's 30 minutes of spare time between when the strat is engaged and when the users of this strat abandon it and charge (still having wasted 30 minutes with no payoff for either side), or decide to double down and wait until there are 4 minutes left in the match and then run to the closest extraction, leaving the sieged people dead by default. Usually, it is done in boss buildings, where players are forced to cram inside to kill the boss/grab bounty tokens. With less match time, at least people will be able to waste less of others' time. It's not skillful: it's a boring strategy that rewards doing absolutely nothing, and makes matches nothing but a waste of time. The only thing the 1 hour timer is used for is a toxic surround/camp strat where you lock people in a location until they rush out into their disadvantageous death, or die by timer. The days of slow, stealthy plays with skillful flanks making for long firefights are gone.

Matches rarely have action that lasts longer than that amount of time.
